In our different circles of friends and family, we all know at least one person who is going though cancer treatment.  What we don't know, unless we've gone through it, is that it's very expensive!  These people need our help, especially the middle income folks.  They don't qualify for most of the help programs, so they are stuck with an ever increasing bill even after they are through!   There is one program that you quailfy for, if you don't qualify for any other, the Cummings family fund.  That's where the money we raise goes.

 Now lots of people think that the American Cancer Society will help with treatment bills, they don't.  The money collected goes to research, education, advocacy and service.
